Welcome to Color Me Rad: 5K & RAD Festival

Waves start at 8AM & The RAD Festival runs ‘til 11AM!

This isn’t your average 5K. It’s a technicolor explosion of messy, main-character energy with optional jogging and mandatory good vibes. Whether you’re running, walking, skipping, or twerking your way through it — just know you’re about to be covered in rainbows.

About Your Tickets

Kids 5 and under are free and don’t require a ticket! Bring ‘em and your strollers! If you want the full experience for your young one, you can buy a kids ticket that will come with color packets and a tshirt! Color Me Rad is a cashless event. Only credit cards may be used for race tickets and merch.

Check your inbox (or your group chat receipts). Your digital tickets were emailed after purchase.

• No need to print them out — just screenshot that sucker and have it ready on your phone.
• If you can’t find them: search your email for “Color Me Rad” or check your spam folder.
• Still can’t find it? Email us: events@findyourmode.com

You’ll scan in at Packet Pickup or Race Day check-in to get your rad gear.

Packet Pickup

Friday, July 10 | 12PM–6PM @ Liberty Lake MØDE Campus

Drive up, vibe out — we’ll have a map with parking zones marked. All parking will be at the back of the building — access via Molter > Mission > back lot. We’ll have a parking map included in your info packet and posted online the week of the event.

You’ll see signs (and probably hear music). Head there to grab your shirt

Bring your ticket screenshot to pick up  your soon-to-be-ruined white tee. Yes, you'll get a race shirt — and yes, you’re gonna want to decorate it.

• We’ve got fabric markers, paint stations, and full-on art kid energy.

If you can’t make it on Friday to pick up your packet, you can also come on race day:

We’ve made it easy to get here whether you’re coming from Washington or Idaho. Just follow the rainbow (or these directions):

Coming From Spokane (West)

• Hop on I-90 E
• Take Exit 1 for Pointe Parkway
• Turn left on W Pointe Parkway‍
• Turn right on N Beck Rd‍
• Continue North to MØDE Stateline Speedway

Race Day Rundown

Saturday, July 11 – Post Falls, ID

Here’s how the schedule shakes out:

• 7:00 AM – Check-in / Late Packet Pickup
• 8:00 AM – First Wave Begins!
• Every 30 minutes – New Race Wave Starts
• 10:00 AM – Last Wave Starts
• 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM – 🎉 RAD FESTIVAL ALL DAY!

🌀 Waves release every 30 minutes

We launch smaller groups every 30 minutes to keep the chaos flowing just right. It's all about optimizing your run-to-rainbow ratio. (Yes, we’re basically scientists.) Keep an ear on the announcer.

👋 Please be nice and wait your turn. We promise: everyone gets out, everyone gets messy, and no one gets left behind in the rainbow dust.

All parking will be directed on-site. We’ll have a parking map included in your info packet and posted online the week of the event.

FAQs

Q: Do I need to run the whole 5K?
‍A: LOL. No. Run, walk, dance, crawl — just make it colorful.

Q: Can I run in multiple waves (like with my kids)?
‍A: Totally. Parents can jump in for the family mile AND the 5K. Just don’t double dip on color packets ;)

Q: Are strollers cool?
‍A: Yup — but maybe cover it with a tarp unless you want rainbow wheels.

Q: What if it rains?
‍A: Even better. The powder pops HARD when wet.

Q: Where do I park?
‍A: Parking map is coming soon to your inbox + social. Volunteers will guide you onsite.

Reminders

• Please stay on the course — not just for your safety, but so volunteers can keep the party flowing.
• Be kind to our crew. Most volunteers are local teens, color-slinging in exchange for snacks and community service hours.
• Respect the powder — don’t blast people’s faces point-blank or dump handfuls in water stations.
